Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must be currently enrolled students in the Florida A&M University School of Journalism & Graphic Communication, majoring in Journalism, Public Relations, or Graphic Design. A minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrated financial need are required.
When does the application open and close?
Applications are now open and close on September 25, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET. Late submissions cannot be accepted.
How is the recipient selected?
A review committee evaluates each complete application based on academic achievement, financial need, essay quality, community involvement, and alignment with the foundation's mission.
What can the scholarship funds be used for?
Funds may be used for tuition, fees, books, housing, equipment, software, and other educational expenses that support the recipient's academic success.
Can previous applicants apply again?
Yes. Students who applied previously and still meet the eligibility requirements are welcome to reapply in future award cycles.

When will the winner be announced?
